Most bears feel a lot of respect for Austin, because he has been around for so long and helped younger bears to become wiser by telling them stories and learning them how to live a safe life in the dangerous woods. Austin was carefully made by hand using smoky long pile upholstery. He is filled with mineral granules, mohair and a lot of love. The granules give him a pleasant weight, ideal to make him sit comfortably, and stand if he really tries hard. Austin looks at you through a pair of black glass eyes. I embroidered his nose with brown embroidery thread. His paw pads were made of imitation leather. He wears a suede bow with a bell. Thanks to his 5 joints, Austin can move his arms, legs and head. His sizes are 2 7/8" when he is sitting, and 4" while standing. One of his friends is a 1 2/8" bear I made of Fimo clay. He can move his arms and legs because they are attached to his body with thread. The smaller friend is a plastic bear of only 1/2". Austin comes with the two bear friends sitting in their red metal little cart. Austin was adopted on the 24th of October, 2007. He now lives in the USA.
