Never in a hurry, Dorothy lives a happy life surrounded by her beautiful rose gardens. Some might think she is old-fashioned, but in fact she just lives her days like they were meant to be lived: in peace and quiet. What a lovely bear to take care of! Dorothy was carefully made by hand using smoky long pile upholstery. She is filled with mohair, old-fashioned style and glass and steel granules. The granules give her a nice weight, making her sit comfortably and even stand if she tries hard. Dorothy looks at you through a pair of black glass eyes. I embroidered her nose. Her paw pads were made of ultra suede. I knitted a mohair vest, and created a cotton dress with a lace border for her. Thanks to her 5 joints, Dorothy is able to move her arms, legs and head. Her sizes are 2 7/8" when she is sitting, and 4" while standing. Dorothy comes with the rusty bucket filled with silk roses. Dorothy was adopted on the 27th of August, 2008. She lives with her nice adoption mother in the USA now.
