This lady bear was created with a dear adoption mother in mind, and she was happy to name her new friend Emma. Together with her turtle, Emma looks so lovely in her green top and dress, and the straw hat makes her even more desirable. A true tiny friend for someone who wanted to enjoy her company. Emma was carefully made by hand using smokey long pile upholstery. She is filled with mohair, lots of warmth to give and glass and steel granules. The granules give her a nice weight, making her sit comfortably and even stand if she really wants. Emma looks at you through a pair of black glass eyes. I embroidered her nose. Her paw pads were made of ultra suede. I crocheted her top, and created a cotton skirt with a border of old lace for her. She wears a straw hat with an old silk bow. Thanks to her 5 joints, Emma is able to move her arms, legs and head. Her sizes are 2 2/8" when she is sitting, and 3" while standing. Emma comes wearing her beautiful clothes and with her polystone turtle. Emma was adopted on the 4th of February, 2009. Her lovely adoption mother in the USA will welcome her with open arms.
