At the end of each day, Luna walks to the edge of the wood and waits until it gets dark. She then looks up to the sky to watch the bright highlands and darker plains of the moon. How she wishes she could really fly and be the Neil Armstrong among bears.

Luna was carefully made by hand using rare vintage long pile upholstery velvet (from the Malden Mills factory). She is filled with lots of hugs, mohair and a combination of glass and steel granules. They give her a very comfortable weight to make it easier to sit and even stand (although she has to lean a bit forward to stand on her own).

Luna watches through black onyx eyes. She has a blue embroidered nose. Her sculpted paw pads were made of medium pile upholstery. Her beautiful wings consist of painted feathers.

Thanks to her 5 joints, Luna easily moves her arms, legs and head.

Her sizes are 2 2/8" when she is sitting, and 3" while standing (excluding antennae).

Luna was adopted on the 8th of April, 2007. She traveled all the way to the USA to live with her adoption mother.
