A very kind lady from the United States asked me to create a custom teddy bear named after her husband Michael. After some nice emails and lots of hours of loving work a new Bright Bear was born and sent to his adoption home, where I am sure he lives in warmth and peace.

Michael was carefully made by hand using Schulte mohair. He is filled with mohair, loads of hugs, and mineral and rubber granules. The granules give him the perfect weight to sit comfortably, and to even stand if he tries a bit.

Michael looks at you with his black glass eyes. He has an embroidered nose. His paw pads were made of medium pile upholstery. He wears a knitted mohair spencer, and a bow of old silk with a rusty bell attached to it.

Thanks to his 5 joints, Michael easily moves his arms, legs and head.

He is about 125 mm (5 inch) tall.

Michael was adopted on the 14th of February, 2010. He will enjoy a lot of warmth in the home of his loving adoption mother in the USA.
