Her best friend is a garden gnome, her favorite tool is a garden trowel, her home is a summer house, and her name is Mireille. She wears dungarees with strawberries printed on them. They fit nicely with the fresh strawberries she just picked from her garden.

Mireille was carefully made by hand using the best long pile upholstery velvet (from the Malden Mills factory). She is filled with mohair, a lot of love and glass and steel granules. The granules give her a pleasant weight, ideal to make her stand and sit comfortably (although her dungarees are pretty tight, so she does not sit easily).

Mireille has a pair of brown glass eyes. I made her nose of Fimo clay. Her paw pads were made of upholstery.

Because of her 5 joints, Mireille easily moves her arms, legs and head.

Her sizes are 2 2/8" when she is sitting, and 3 1/8" while standing.

I made the basket and strawberries by hand using Fimo clay.

Mireille comes with the basket full of strawberries, and wearing her crocheted hat.

Mireille was adopted on the 26th of September, 2007. A warm adoption mother from the USA takes care of her now.
