Part of a typical spring scene, Sayen is a lovable bear, full of character. The winter sleep is well over for her, and she began collecting nice spring ornaments for her home already. Her hat on, bag around her shoulder, and there she goes for a healthy walk again...

Sayen was carefully made by hand using long pile upholstery velvet (from the Malden Mills factory). She is filled with mohair, a lot of love and glass and steel granules. The granules give her a pleasant weight, ideal to make her stand and sit comfortably.

Sayen looks at you through a pair of brown glass eyes with black pupils. I made her nose of Fimo clay. Her paw pads were made of vintage rayon. She wears a hat of paper thread with a bow and feather on top of it. I crocheted her bag, and put a polystone flower inside.

Thanks to her 5 joints, Sayen is able to move her arms, legs and head.

Her sizes are 2 3/8" when she is sitting, and 3 2/8" while standing (without the hat).

Sayen comes wearing the hat and the bag, and with the two flowerpots and the wooden fence with the cockerel.

Sayen was adopted on the 7th of April, 2008. She was lucky enough to find a warm home in the USA.
