She is still so young, and yet Sophia looks so bright and courageous already. She plays on her rug with her best friend, a toy rabbit. She has no worries, no problems, only a lot of joy and love to give. And it shows...

Sophia was carefully made by hand using the best long pile upholstery velvet (from the Malden Mills factory). She is filled with mohair, plenty of joy, and glass and steel granules. The granules give her exactly the weight needed to stand and sit comfortably.

Sophia looks at you through brown glass eyes with black pupils. She has a brown nose handmade of Fimo clay. Her sculpted paw pads were made of medium pile upholstery. She wears a knitted bib around her neck and tiny bows with heart-shaped buttons in her hair.

Thanks to her 5 joints, Sophia easily moves her arms, legs and head.

Her sizes are 2 3/8" when she is sitting, and 3 1/8" while standing.

I made the toy rabbit of Fimo clay. The little one can even move her arms and legs. She is about 1 4/8" small.

Sophia was adopted on the 9th of March, 2008. She was lucky enough to find a warm home in Italy.
