Ben and Jerry, born on the 3rd of April, 2009

Just returning from the florist, father Ben and his son Jerry smile because they have found a great bunch of flowers to give to their future adoption mum. It is not only because Mother's Day is near, but just because they will love her so much that they want to surprise her.

You can adopt Ben and Jerry for US $249.00 (+ US $9.00 for worldwide shipping). Your two new friends will arrive in about 10 days after we receive payment confirmation from PayPal.

Ben & Jerry were carefully made by hand using smokey long pile upholstery. They are filled with mohair, lots of love, and glass and steel granules. The granules give them just the weight needed to stand and sit comfortably.

Both of them look at you through black glass eyes. They have an embroidered nose. Their paw pads were made of ultra suede and have magnets inside, so they can hold the flowers, the bike or anything else that is made of metal. I knitted a spencer for Ben and a cardigan for his son Jerry. They both wear a bow of old silk, and Ben even has a rusty bell hanging on it.

Thanks to their 5 joints, Ben & Jerry easily move their arms, legs and head.

Ben is 71 mm (2 7/8 inch) when he is sitting, and 100 mm (4 inch) while standing. Jerry is 59 mm (2 2/8 inch) when he sits and 82 mm (3 2/8 inch) while standing.

Ben & Jerry were born in a non-smoking home, and come - with a bunch of paper flowers (with a magnetic stem), a wooden sign and of course their lovely metal carrier tricycle - in a nice box, with a card containing some of their characteristics handwritten by me, the artist.
