This little fellow is poor but oh so lucky to be alive. Dusty and his faithful dog sometimes walk in dangerous alleyways and dark parks, looking for something to eat and for friends to help. The both of them deserve to find a warm home, don't you think?

Dusty is on auction on eBay until the 30th of July, 2008 (20:00:00 PST).

Dusty was carefully made by hand using Schulte mohair. He is filled with mohair, survival skills, and rubber and mineral granules. The granules give him just the weight needed to stand comfortably. His pants are a bit tight, so sitting is not that easy for him.

Dusty looks at you through black glass eyes. He has an embroidered nose. His paw pads were made of ultra suede. I made him corduroy trousers and knitted a mohair spencer to keep him warm. He wears a shirt, shawl and cap for that extra bit of warmth.

Thanks to his 5 joints, Dusty easily moves his arms, legs and head.

His sizes are 3 2/8" when he is sitting, and 4" while standing (excluding the cap). His beautiful dog measures 2 1/8" long from head to tail and is 2" at his highest point.

Dusty was born in a non-smoking home, and comes - wearing his winter clothes and with the dog - in a nice box, with a card containing some of his characteristics handwritten by me, the artist.
